Here's how to be more social in 5 steps :

There maybe times when you have felt awkward socializing, whether it may be with family, friends or colleagues. Here are 5 steps which you can do to improve your social skil ls : 1st Step: LISTEN. The first step is to simply listen to the speaker. Maintain eye contact, and keep a genuine interest in what they are talking about even if you don't want to. It may be the most boring topic ever, but still listen because that is what'll make you an excellent speaker Try to understand their perspective, their emotions, the message they want to convey and accept it. Do not put up an argument just because yours and theirs perspectives aren't matching. Be compassionate and kind towards anyone, even if you both don't share the same viewpoint. Acknowledgement is the key here. Watch how their body language is, how they speak and how they react. To understand is to acknowledge. 2nd Step: TALK. Start out with small interactions like, "How was your day?" or, "Why do yo...

Procrastinating? Here's the fix in just 4 steps :-

I know very well that you procrastinate work, but never do it or become stuck in anxiety spirals. Why does your brain like to procrastinate? Because it seems that you could do so much more fun than the pile of work you know you have to complete. There have been a few bursts of motivation to get up do it but after a few minutes, its gone. You know, motivation is not something we can rely on but there is something we can rely on : habits. There are many instances where you come from your workplace and throw your clothes out and take out your phone or TV remote and start wasting your 2 hours of that day. Out of guilt, you will stop but are too anxious to start because of that burden. That makes you go again to doom-scrolling. Your brain is subconsciously taking your free time and wasting it. Well there is a solution: You need to make a habit of working for your preferable amount of time and building a habit is pretty easy but what's more important is breaking the bad habit. But how, ...

Why do you love to scroll and hate to read?

The amount of time an average person spends on short form content is 1 hour and 16 minutes daily. If you continue watching short formed content for just a month, you will have wasted your 38 hours and in a year you will have wasted 456 hours or 19 full days. Well I have just taken an average, the real number would, of course be more than that. If you want to improve yourself by any means, I mean any, quit short-formed content because : It makes your brain unstable because of the excess dopamine you're getting. Dopamine is a pleasure hormone which directed our ancestors to eat more healthy and stay in shape, but now, companies hijack our brain systems for dopamine for their own profit. Dopamine is activated when we eat sugar or fat, watch short formed content, et cetera and deforms our brain for foolish pleasure which have no profit for us whatsoever.      You must have maybe wondered why do we spend so time watching short-form content, TV or any...
